About Curse of The Azure Bonds

This role playing game is a direct follow up to Pool of Radiance, continuing the Gold Box series. Players form a party of up to six characters, selecting from a range of classes that includes the original four as well as two new options. The core adventure begins with the party being attacked near Tilverton and magically branded with five controlling azure bonds, which compel them to find the source of this curse and remove it.

Gameplay involves navigating pseudo 3D environments from a first person perspective for exploration, while combat shifts to a separate, top down tactical display. Travel between major locations is handled via an overworld map. The rules are based on the AD&D system, with turn based commands allowing characters to move freely during battles against both random and scripted enemy groups.
