About Megaman Battle Network 4 Red Sun

Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun is an RPG that continues the series following the defeat of the WWW organization. The narrative involves a new crisis where an asteroid approaches Earth and a vampiric Navi named ShadeMan attacks others on the Internet.

Players control Lan in the real world and his Net Navi, Mega Man, in the online realm. Gameplay shifts between Lan's real world interactions and Mega Man's internet exploration, where random virus encounters trigger battles blending turn based and real time elements.

A central mechanical addition is the Soul Unison system, granting temporary power boosts by merging with defeated Navis. This fusion lasts three turns and requires a specific Battle Chip to activate. Certain Soul Unisons and Battle Chips are exclusive to this version, with full access requiring a link to the companion game, Blue Moon, for trading and net battles.
