World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks is a combat game set in a post-apocalyptic world where televised tank tournaments serve as entertainment. The setting consists of seven distinct wasteland arenas, each containing five levels for a total of thirty-five combat environments.

Participants are twelve individual competitors, each operating a unique tank. Gameplay involves the use of over twenty different weapons and four types of power-ups during matches. The objective is to destroy opposing tanks to win the championship title.
