Wendy: Der Traum von Arizona

Wendy: Der Traum von Arizona is a children's action-adventure title for the Game Boy Color. The player controls a group based on a German cartoon character, whose goal is to fund a riding holiday in Arizona by earning money from equestrian tournaments.

Progress is structured around two alternating types of stages. The primary adventure segments involve completing tasks such as assisting characters or caring for horses. This requires dialogue, inventory management, and succeeding in various mini-games, while avoiding contact with hostile animals that cause damage. These sections are interspersed with dedicated tournament levels, where the player competes in several riding disciplines, sometimes after a qualification round.

Upon completing the main sequence of levels, a final arcade challenge involves driving a taxi to the airport to unlock the conclusion. After finishing the story, a separate tournament mode becomes available for replaying the competitive events to achieve high scores.
