About Battle B-Daman

Battle B-Daman adapts the Japanese toy and manga series into a video game centered on robot duels. Players control Yamato Delgado, an aspiring competitor in the B-Daworld's traditional sport, who must defeat other B-DaPlayers to enter the Winner's Tournament. A key objective involves collecting components for a device called the Cobalt Blade.

Gameplay consists primarily of first-person battles where movement is restricted to lateral shifts. Combat involves firing colored balls to deplete an opponent's health while dodging their shots. Victory in matches unlocks new parts, allowing for robot customization which influences available abilities.

Two distinct battle modes are present: Direct Hit Battle and B-Daman Invasion. A dedicated button handles standard firing, while a separate B-DaSpirit meter charges over time. When specific directional prompts appear on screen, a combination of the B button and a direction can unleash a Special Attack. These powerful moves change based on the player's current equipment loadout.
