Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket

Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket adapts a television cartoon into a game where the community works to restore a dilapidated train station and its non-functional steam engine. The protagonist, Postman Pat, is central to this effort, assisted by his cat Jess.

Gameplay is organized into five distinct levels, each containing three different types of stages. Pat explores platforming areas to locate specific villagers by walking and jumping, while also gathering postal items like stamps and parcels. Control occasionally switches to Jess, who can access areas Pat cannot to activate mechanisms.

Separate arcade-style mini-games are hosted by the townspeople, involving tasks such as object sorting, kite flying, and catching items. Another recurring stage type has Pat driving his van through Greendale, where avoiding obstacles within a time limit is the primary objective.

Progress is tied to retrieving objects for the villagers, with each completed level providing an item necessary for the train repair project. The structure cycles through these platform, mini-game, and driving phases.
