Planet Defender

You control a lone ship orbiting a planet, and your job is to protect that planet from waves of incoming asteroids and enemy fighters. The moment to moment play involves constant movement, using the WASD keys to dodge while your mouse aims and fires. Between levels, you spend collected resources to upgrade your ship's weapons, shields, and engine. The pacing is insistent, with each wave growing more dense and requiring quicker reflexes. It feels like a tense, focused scramble to manage your position and firepower before the screen gets too crowded.
