About Planetcide Genesis

Planetcide Genesis was one of those games you'd find in the later days of the Flash era, a straightforward action title that loaded quickly and got right to the point. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple premise that fit the time.

You control a small, agile ship from a top-down perspective, constantly moving it with the mouse. Holding the left button makes you accelerate, while releasing it lets you drift, a simple system that demands careful navigation through swarms of enemies. Your main job is to survive wave after wave of mutants and raiders, firing with the spacebar to clear a path. The screen fills quickly, forcing you to weave between projectiles and pick your targets. It's a difficult game, with each new wave tightening the space you have to maneuver. The experience is tense and immediate, a test of reflexes where a single mistake ends your run.
