About World of Aden: Thunderscape

In the setting of World of Aden: Thunderscape, a period of industrial advancement fueled by steam technology was abruptly halted. This cataclysm, called the Darkfall, unleashed monstrous nocturnals upon the realm, leading some inhabitants to become Corrupted by allying with these forces. The game presents a challenging premise where confronting this evil requires delving into underground strongholds.

This is implemented as a dungeon-crawling role-playing game with a three-dimensional perspective. Players assemble a party from a selection of races, which encompasses both familiar fantasy types and those original to this world. Character development involves selecting a class and initial combat abilities at creation.

Gameplay integrates turn-based combat directly into the exploration interface, avoiding separate battle screens. As characters accumulate experience and level up, players can allocate improvements to their core attributes or acquire new magical capabilities.
