About Tomb of the TaskMaker

The player assumes the role of the protector of Castle Hall following the death of the TaskMaker. Initial objectives involve aiding villages by recovering items from monsters, which are subsequently destroyed. This premise shifts when a report of the TaskMaker's resurrection, later revealed as a deception by the Captain Guard, leads to a final confrontation to secure peace.

This sequel expands upon its predecessor with a larger, newly constructed world featuring additional dungeons and villages to explore. Visual presentation was enhanced, and character creation includes a choice of gender alongside three distinct classes: fighter, mage, and thief. This class system introduces varied approaches to the static, non-randomized world.

Development occurred under significant time constraints, resulting in a version that remained at 1.0 for many years. A minor update was eventually released by the original developer in 2008.
