About The Third Courier

The Third Courier is a DOS game where the player assumes the role of an American spy operating in Cold War Germany. The primary objective involves retrieving stolen NATO defense documents.

Gameplay centers on navigating a city environment using taxis and the Autobahn. Interaction with characters and acquisition of items are necessary to progress. The player's apartment serves as an initial hub, equipped with espionage tools and personal documents.

A compass and on-screen indicators assist in locating points of interest during exploration. The player must conduct surveillance on suspicious individuals, which can lead to confrontations. These encounters with hostile figures like enemy agents or criminals can become violent, requiring the player to use a firearm quickly to survive, making the action challenging.
