About Stonekeep

Stonekeep is a real-time dungeon crawler set entirely in subterranean ruins. The player controls Drake, whose spirit was separated from his body by the goddess Thera to protect him as he returns to his destroyed childhood home. His quest is one of vengeance and the liberation of benevolent deities, opposing the destructive god Khull-Khuum.

Gameplay involves navigating these underground areas with a party. Drake is joined by up to three computer-controlled companions who assist in combat. Character progression is not based on a creation system; Drake's initial abilities are fixed. He improves his prowess with a weapon type through repeated use of it. The magic system is rune-based, requiring players to find and socket runes onto staves to cast spells. These spells can be combined to create various offensive and supportive effects.

The game's visual presentation utilizes digitized photographs and animations of live actors to depict characters and scenes.
