About Martian Memorandum

Martian Memorandum continues the story of Tex Murphy, a private investigator whose fortunes have declined in the six years since his previous case. He is hired by a powerful industrialist on Mars to locate a missing daughter and a valuable, unspecified item she took.

The gameplay is exclusively adventure focused, a shift from the hybrid design of the earlier title. Interaction relies on verb commands for the environment and selecting dialogue options when questioning characters. This places a strong emphasis on conversation and decision making over inventory puzzles.

Player choices carry significant weight, as incorrect decisions can lead to a challenging outcome by making progress impossible or triggering an early conclusion to the case.
