About Space Quest I: Roger Wilco in the Sarien Encounter

Space Quest I: Roger Wilco in the Sarien Encounter is a graphical adventure game that represents a technical update of its original release. The remake features a point and click interface driven by the SCI engine, replacing the older hybrid system.

Visual and audio presentation was upgraded with 256 color VGA graphics and Sound Blaster compatibility. This version includes some expanded scenes and more detailed descriptive text, which often serves to heighten the game's humorous tone.

Certain puzzles were adjusted to fit the new control scheme, and an optional feature allows players to bypass a specific arcade style sequence.
