About Innocent Until Caught

Innocent Until Caught is a graphic adventure where the player controls Jack T. Ladd, a galactic thief facing a severe deadline. He must raise funds within 28 days while stranded on the desolate planet Tayte, as failure to pay his taxes carries the penalty of termination by the interstellar authorities.

The interface employs a point and click system using icons and includes several notable features. One is a dual purpose mini window that can display a local map or function as a magnifier for examining small objects. Another is an inventory system presented as a box where items can be freely arranged, even overlapping one another.

In terms of presentation, the game incorporates early examples of rendered sequences to advance its narrative. While its overall design adheres to conventional adventure game standards, these specific interface elements represent distinct innovations for its time.
