About Astonishia Story

Astonishia Story is a Korean role-playing game built on traditional Japanese systems. Its narrative centers on a conflict between elves and humans, sparked by the elves' queen sacrificing her youth to save their Life Tree a century prior. This act leads to human oppression and a quest by the half-elf Francis De La Cross to save the queen, a mission he pursues relentlessly.

The gameplay involves managing a party across a linear world map where enemies are visible and can be evaded. Combat begins upon contact, shifting to a turn-based tactical mode where positioning and weapon range determine if attacks can be made. Character progression occurs automatically.

The plot is set in motion when Lloyd von Roiental, a young vice-commander, fails to protect a powerful artifact called the Wand of Kinan during an ambush orchestrated by Francis. With his companions dead and the staff stolen, Lloyd's objective becomes recovering the artifact to prevent further violence.
