About Wings 2: Aces High

Wings 2: Aces High is a World War I flight combat title where players select from five Allied pilots to undertake a campaign of twenty missions. The final objective is a confrontation with the enemy ace known as The Red Baron.

Mission structure involves aerial dogfighting as a primary activity, alongside ground attack runs with unlimited ammunition and bombing sorties against specific photographed targets. Success or failure in a mission carries permanent consequences for the pilot, ranging from skill advancement to removal from service.

Successful completion allows for the enhancement of a pilot's capabilities in four distinct areas: flying, shooting, mechanics, and stamina. A failed sortie, however, can result in the pilot's death or dishonorable discharge, making the campaign challenging.
