About Steel Talons

Steel Talons is a combat flight simulation originally developed for arcades. The player controls a helicopter in a three dimensional environment, with terrain features like mountains and deserts rendered in polygon graphics. Missions involve destroying specific targets within a time limit, making the pacing challenging.

Available weaponry includes a cannon and a supply of missiles that lock onto targets automatically. A radar map displays both the player's position and enemy locations. The helicopter can be damaged or destroyed by colliding with the ground, terrain, or other vehicles.

Beyond the primary campaign of twelve missions, the game offers training exercises and a duel mode against a computer controlled opponent.
