About Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle

Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle is a fighting game derived from its manga source, which features a martial artist cursed to change gender when exposed to water. The narrative context for the combat is a competition for dominance among the series' cast.

Players engage in side-scrolling battles where they must avoid incoming attacks while attempting to land their own. Offensive options include standard strikes, special maneuvers executed with specific controller inputs, and more powerful super moves. These super moves are conditional, becoming available only when a character's life bar begins to flash and requiring a button charge to perform.

The roster is fully available from the start for both solo play and versus matches, allowing immediate access to any character in either mode.
