About Gourmet Warriors

Gourmet Sentai: Bara Yarou is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where players select one of three fighters: Bonjour, Mademoiselle, or Très Bien. The action progresses through distinct stages, each culminating in a boss encounter after clearing out numerous lesser foes.

Combat revolves around standard moves like punches, throws, and jumps, with each character having unique follow-up attacks for vulnerable opponents. Defeated enemies leave behind cooking ingredients, which are collected throughout the stage.

A defining mechanic involves combining two ingredients at the stage's end to create a meal. The health restored by this meal varies, depending on whether the selected character has a preference for that particular dish. The settings are highly varied, shifting without strong narrative links from urban locales to vehicles like trains and even spacecraft.
