About Goal!

Goal! is a soccer simulation for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The objective is to outscore the opposing team within a set match duration, with play occurring on a horizontally oriented field.

Two primary modes structure the experience. One allows for single matches against either the computer or a second player, with a selection of 24 international teams. The other is a tournament format where a chosen team must defeat three others to claim a championship.

Prior to a match, several configurations are available. These include selecting a team formation and adjusting rules such as offsides and fouls. Match length is also customizable, with each half adjustable from one to 45 minutes. Additional settings control a positional radar display and whether goal kicks are performed automatically.
