About Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars

Wayne Gretzky and the NHLPA All-Stars is a hockey simulation featuring a large roster of professional players and teams. Alongside its namesake, the game includes numerous other stars from the era, with a total selection of 600 athletes. The available teams consist of the 26 NHL franchises and 6 international squads from its time of release.

Its structure offers several standard modes, including Exhibition matches, full Season play, and Playoffs. A Just Play option immediately starts a randomized game. Players can choose between a more realistic Simulation Mode, which incorporates penalties, or a faster-paced Arcade Mode with simplified rules. The game tracks statistics through a battery backup save feature and supports two-player competition.
