Techno Cop

Review
Also known as
Technocop

Alternate between driving and side scrolling action to clear the city of criminals.

Techno Cop was originally released in 1988 for home computers (Amiga, Atari ST, etc.). The Sega Genesis version was released in 1990 by RazorSoft.

About Techno Cop

Techno Cop presents a two phase structure of gameplay within a near future setting. Players assume the role of an officer tasked with removing criminal elements from a city.

One phase involves operating a red Ferrari to eliminate hostile vehicles on the roads. Following successful completion of these driving sequences, the perspective shifts to a sidescrolling format where the character navigates platforms, uses elevators, and engages numerous foes. This culminates in a confrontation with a boss character.

The cycle of road based action and interior platforming repeats, with each mission concluded by apprehending or defeating a target before returning to the driving segment for the next assignment.
