Disney's Bonkers

Review
Also known as
Bonkers

Catch four criminals through distinct mini-games, including a doughnut-throwing chase and a top-down car pursuit.

Disney's Bonkers for Sega Genesis was developed by SEGA Interactive Development Division and released by SEGA in 1994; it is the original game version, not a port of an earlier title.

About Disney's Bonkers

Disney's Bonkers for the Sega Genesis adapts the television series, casting players as the bobcat police officer Bonkers. The central objective involves winning a police contest by apprehending four specific criminals, which structures the entire experience.

Gameplay is organized into distinct mini-games, each focused on capturing one lawbreaker. These activities include a horizontal chase in a museum using thrown doughnuts, constructing a wall to trap a suspect, a timed search for hidden items before an explosion, and a top-down vehicular pursuit. Successfully completing three consecutive rounds of a mini-game, which become progressively more challenging, unlocks a unique bonus stage for that activity.
