Space Harrier II Classic スペースハリアーII

Navigate 13 stages in a 3D landscape, blasting enemies and bosses to save Fantasy Land.

Space Harrier II was released for the Sega Genesis in Japan on October 29, 1988, and in North America in 1989. The original game version is the Sega Genesis version, as it was not released on any other platform before the Genesis.

About Space Harrier II

Space Harrier II is a shooter where the player controls a character known as a Space Harrier. The objective is to defend a location called Fantasy Land across a series of thirteen distinct stages.

Gameplay involves moving freely to attack enemies that advance toward the player's viewpoint. The perspective is from behind the character, with environments scrolling forward in a manner that simulates three-dimensional depth. This visual approach is comparable to certain racing games of the era.

Opponents include foes carried over from the original Space Harrier alongside newly introduced ones, culminating in confrontations with boss characters. The presentation is noted for its use of intense, rapidly changing colors.
