About A Dinosaur's Tale

"A Dinosaur's Tale" is a Sega Genesis title that adapts the animated film "We're Back." Its structure alternates between two distinct gameplay formats. One format features side-scrolling platforming where the player controls the human children, Cecilia or Louie, navigating through obstacles in New York locales such as a television studio and a circus.

The other format presents early 3D gameplay sequences, a technical novelty for the Genesis at the time. In these stages, the player assumes the role of a dinosaur character, such as Rex skateboarding on a truck or Elsa flying over Central Park to collect balloons. The overarching objective across both formats is to confront the antagonist, Dr. Screweyes.
