About Firepower 2000

Firepower 2000 is a military action game set on a mid-Atlantic island. A covert organization there has assembled a robotic army using stolen global military technology, posing an imminent threat that conventional forces are unprepared to counter.

The player's objective is a preemptive strike, infiltrating the enemy base to eliminate this force before it can attack. Gameplay involves selecting one of two distinct vehicles for the mission: a Helicopter or a Jeep. Each vehicle offers specific tactical trade-offs, such as the Jeep's ability to aim freely versus the Helicopter's capacity to bypass ground obstructions.

Throughout the mission, players can acquire a total of nine different weapons to aid in combat. These are divided into five permanent armaments and four temporary special weapons, providing varied means to engage and destroy the robotic enemy forces.
