About To the Earth

"To the Earth" is a light gun shooter set in a 2050 scenario where Earth is under assault. The player's objective is to defend the planet by piloting a ship called The Tempest on a mission to four specific planets.

Gameplay involves using the NES Zapper to target hostile craft and projectiles. Enemy ships and missiles approach at a challenging pace, requiring quick reflexes to neutralize them before they inflict critical damage on the player's vessel. The defensive options include a temporary shield, activated by shooting a passing comet, and a screen clearing smart bomb that appears as a target.

Each segment of the interplanetary journey concludes with a confrontation against a larger boss enemy. These adversaries are durable, designed to withstand several direct hits before being defeated. The core loop involves navigating through these defensive sequences while progressing toward the destinations of Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, and finally Earth.
