About Ultimate Air Combat

Ultimate Air Combat is a military flight action game centered on a conflict initiated by General Don Gwano. The player, acting on a strategy proposed by Admiral Cliff Stormdrane, takes the role of a pilot tasked with halting this aggression through targeted strikes.

Gameplay is structured across numerous missions, each divided into two distinct phases. The initial segment places the player in a cockpit view for an aerial dogfight, requiring the destruction of three enemy aircraft under constraints of fuel and enemy fire. Following this, the perspective shifts to an isometric view for an assault on ground-based forces and installations.

Players have access to three specific aircraft models: the FA-18 Hornet, AV-8 Harrier, and F-14 Tomcat. These planes can be equipped with various ordnance, including missiles like the harpoon, ASRAAM, and maverick, as well as bombs such as the rockeye and sea eagle. The campaign consists of a sequence of thirty-six standard missions culminating in a final operation.
