About Swords and Serpents

Swords and Serpents is a first-person role-playing game where the player controls a party of four adventurers. The objective is to navigate a sixteen-level dungeon to find ruby treasures, a task that has defeated many previous explorers. Character creation involves selecting from three available classes: warrior, thief, and magician, with the option to use a pre-made team.

The dungeon environment contains various items for the party to find, including armor, weapons, and magical resources. Movement through the complex is aided by teleporters and zoom tubes, while temples offer places to recover health and mana. An automapping function tracks explored areas, and progress can be saved using a password system. The journey is challenging, as the dungeon is populated by numerous fantasy monsters and a final serpent king adversary.
