About Mega Man 4

Mega Man 4 is an action platformer where the player controls the robot hero through a series of stages. The core progression involves completing eight levels, each concluding with a battle against a specialized Robot Master. Defeating these bosses grants their unique weapons for the player's use.

A narrative setup explains the protagonist's mission. Following a period of peace after Dr. Wily's apparent demise, a new antagonist named Dr. Cossack emerges, accusing Mega Man of kidnapping his daughter. To resolve this conflict and prove his innocence, Mega Man must locate the missing girl by confronting Cossack's robotic forces.

Character abilities include jumping, shooting, climbing, and sliding. A significant new tool is the Mega Buster, a standard arm cannon that can be charged for more powerful shots. An additional utility comes from a robotic dog companion that can be transformed to navigate specific environmental challenges.
