About Mega Man 2

Mega Man 2 is a sequel where the protagonist must stop eight new Robot Masters created by the escaped Dr. Wily. These bosses, including Metal Man and Heat Man, each possess a unique weapon that becomes available after their defeat.

A strategic layer is introduced through weapon vulnerabilities, as each Robot Master is weak against a specific weapon acquired from another. This encourages experimentation to discover effective matchups. The game provides tools to manage its challenging pace, such as the E-Tank for fully restoring energy and a password system to record progress.

Certain elements from the first game were altered; notably, the scoring system was removed. The core loop involves navigating stages, defeating bosses to gain their abilities, and using those powers advantageously in subsequent confrontations.
