About Knight Rider

Knight Rider for the NES adapts the premise of the television series, casting the player as Michael Knight. The objective involves pursuing terrorists across American highways to recover a stolen military bomb known as the P.I.V.

Gameplay centers on driving the advanced vehicle K.I.T.T. against a time limit to reach successive destinations. The car is equipped with several offensive systems, including a gun, missiles, and a laser, alongside a jumping capability. A shielding mechanism protects K.I.T.T. from damage, and its depletion results in the loss of a life.

Support during the mission comes from other agents of the organization FLAG. These allies appear on the roadways to provide power-ups that replenish ammunition and restore the vehicle's shields, which can make progression fair.
