Castle of Dragon is the North American NES version of Dragon Unit, originally released in Japan for the Famicom in 1989. The NES version was published by SETA in 1990.

About Castle of Dragon

Castle of Dragon is a side-scrolling action adventure. The player controls the knight Geraden, who must rescue a princess abducted by the antagonist Darklarza.

Darklarza, known as the Dragon Master, has long menaced the kingdom. Following an attack on the king's refuge, the princess is taken, and Geraden embarks on a quest to defeat this foe.

Gameplay involves combat against numerous enemies. Geraden begins with basic arms and armor but can acquire stronger weapons, shields, and magical spells throughout the journey.
