About Twin

Twin is a Game Boy title set in a fantasy world where the ancient dark entity Death Stark, once sealed away, now plots vengeance from the underworld. Players begin by selecting one of two distinct character types: a durable warrior specializing in melee combat or a more fragile wizard who fights from a distance with spells.

The game employs different visual perspectives depending on location, using a top-down diagonal view for interiors and dungeons, while towns and caves are presented from a side view. Enemy encounters are handled through a turn-based system, typically pitting the player against one or two monster types at a time.

Defeating these foes grants experience points, but currency must be claimed separately by reporting to the king. Acquired gold can then be used to hire golem companions, which provide assistance during battles.
