About Jungle Wars

Jungle Wars is a turn based role playing game where players control a party of three characters through both jungle and urban settings. The story begins when a poaching group called the Goths disrupts the harmony of a jungle, capturing its guardian known as Jungle Papa. His son, Jungle Boy, escapes this ambush and embarks on a quest for rescue, joined later by a wizard girl named Mio and a monkey child called Sasuke.

Combat involves random encounters with a menu driven command system. The game maintains progress upon defeat, though this results in a loss of half the player's gold as a medical fee and a return to the last visited hospital. The overall difficulty could be considered fair, as character advancement is managed through an experience based leveling system and the ability to save at any point provides control over progress. A critical rule is that the game ends if Jungle Boy is knocked out, regardless of the status of his companions.
