About Disney's Beauty and the Beast: A Board Game Adventure

Disney's Beauty and the Beast: A Board Game Adventure is a Game Boy Color title that offers two distinct ways to play. One is structured around a series of seven boards where spaces correspond to characters from the film.

Progress on these boards leads to various mini-games, which are activated upon landing on a character's space. These brief challenges test different skills, such as memory or reflexes, and can include activities like operating a spring-loaded log chopper or navigating 2D platforming segments. This primary mode supports up to four participants.

The other available mode is a dedicated 2D platformer with a narrative objective. Here, the player races the antagonist Gaston to the castle to alert the Beast about an approaching mob, a goal pursued across three levels. Mini-games also appear intermittently within this platforming adventure.
