About Croc

Croc is a side-scrolling platformer where the protagonist must rescue captured friends called Gobbos from the villain Baron Dante. The journey progresses through four distinct environments: jungle, desert, ice world, and finally Dante's castle.

Gameplay involves navigating levels with a focus on horizontal and vertical movement. The player uses jumps, pounces, and tail attacks to defeat enemies. Some stages introduce swimming or skiing mechanics. Exploration is encouraged to locate keys and bonus areas, which contain rewards like extra lives, shortcuts, or crystals that function as a health system.

The structure includes approximately thirty main levels, with sliding puzzle bonus rounds interspersed between them. Crystals serve as life energy, with one lost each time Croc takes damage.
