About Spyro : Season of Ice

Spyro: Season of Ice is the dragon's initial release for the Game Boy Advance. The premise involves rescuing frozen fairies, a condition inflicted by the antagonist Grendor to cure his own headache using his Rhynoc forces.

Gameplay shifts from the console titles by employing an isometric viewpoint. Despite this perspective change, Spyro retains his characteristic abilities such as gliding and breathing fire. Assistance comes from recurring characters Hunter and Sparx.

Special flying stages are included, which utilize a pseudo-3D visual effect. This technical approach, seen in other GBA racing games, creates a distinct mode for these bonus sequences.
