Pokemon Quartz

Pokemon Quartz is a Game Boy Advance title that blends role playing and fighting game mechanics. The player's objective involves progressing through tournaments by engaging in battles with opponents found while exploring the town.

Success in these encounters provides currency used to acquire upgraded components, which are necessary to enhance the combat capabilities of the player's model robot. This core loop of exploration, combat, and customization forms the primary campaign.

Outside of the main adventure, the game offers additional modes focused purely on combat. These include a single player arcade style sequence and a versus option for two players to compete using the system's infrared connectivity.
