About Lunar Legend

Lunar Legend is a Game Boy Advance adaptation of the role playing game Lunar: The Silver Star. Its presentation and narrative are primarily based on the later remake, Lunar: Silver Star Story, rather than the original release.

Several gameplay systems distinguish this portable version. The exploration between towns and dungeons uses a simplified, linear path system instead of a freely navigable world map. In combat, a unique special move mechanic is present, where characters can execute powered up attacks after filling a dedicated meter. The game also reverts to random enemy encounters, a feature from the original game, and does not include the animated cutscenes found in the remake, using static images instead.

A separate English translation was also created specifically for this release.
