About Over the Hedge : Hammy Goes Nuts!

Over the Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts! for the Game Boy Advance is a mini-golf title, a format distinct from its counterparts on other handheld systems. The core activity involves navigating balls into holes, but the gameplay is divided between standard putting and stages where the ball is used to destroy specific objects.

Characters from the film have specialized roles; Hammy the squirrel interacts with the environment to clear paths, while other characters are responsible for striking the ball. Progress requires completing holes at or under par, which then unlocks a challenging set of more difficult stages.

A multiplayer function is included, allowing up to four players to compete by passing a single Game Boy Advance cartridge between them.
