World Oldsports

World Oldsports was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the simple, cartoonish sports titles that were common then. You played as Maya and Miguel, two friends heading out for a casual soccer match.

You control the characters with your mouse, clicking to make them run and kick the ball. The main goal is to score more points than the opposing team before time runs out. Moment to moment, you're directing passes, taking shots on goal, and trying to intercept the ball from the other players. The game moves at a quick pace, and the controls can feel a bit slippery, which adds to the challenge. It feels like a frantic, low-stakes game of pickup soccer.
