About Water Polo
Water Polo was one of those straightforward sports games from the Flash era. You could pick it up quickly during a break, with its simple controls and clear objective. It didn't try to be a simulation, just a basic representation of the sport for a browser.
You control a single player on a team, switching automatically to whoever has the ball. Movement is handled with the arrow keys, while two other keys handle passing and shooting. The main goal is to work the ball down the pool and score past the goalkeeper. The mechanics are minimal; you pass to open teammates, try to steal the ball on defense, and aim your shots carefully. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty comes from the opposing team's defenders, who can be persistent. It feels like a quick, functional interpretation of water polo, built for instant play.
