You control Ben, or sometimes one of his alien forms, from a fixed side view of a court. The moment to moment play is about timing your shots. You click to set the power of your throw, then click again to set the arc. The main objective is to score baskets, either by playing around in a free practice mode or by trying to complete a streak in a free throw challenge. The mechanics are basic but require a light touch; releasing the mouse button at the right moment makes the difference between a swish and a miss. The pacing is relaxed, without a timer or an opponent, so you can take your time. It feels like a casual digital version of shooting hoops alone in a driveway.
