You control Ben Tennyson on a 2D court, moving him left and right to dribble and shoot. The main objective is to score more baskets than your opponent before the timer runs out. You have a power meter for your shots, and timing your release is key to making them. As you play, you can transform into different aliens like Four Arms or Heatblast, each with their own special move that can block shots or change the ball's trajectory. The pace is quick, with the AI opponent putting up a decent challenge that keeps you focused. It feels like a light, arcade-style distraction where a single match is over in a few minutes.
