Superman The Actionscript Adventure

You control Superman, flying left and right across a cityscape. The primary goal is to protect Metropolis from an invasion of robots sent by Lex Luthor. Using the keyboard to fly and the mouse to aim, you fire heat vision to destroy the mechanical threats as they appear. Civilians in balloons periodically float into danger, and you must shoot the ropes tethering them before they drift off screen or are hit. The pace is constant, with robots arriving in steady waves that gradually increase in number and aggression, making it easy to start but challenging to maintain control over the chaos. The experience feels like a focused test of your ability to multitask under a slowly mounting pressure.
