Superman - Metropolis Defender

You control Superman, flying left and right across the screen above the city. Your job is to protect Metropolis from falling meteors. You physically collide with the regular ones to smash them. The immediate challenge is covering the width of the screen in time, as the meteors fall at an increasing pace. Some rocks glow green; these are Kryptonite, and touching them hurts you. For those, you have to stop, hover, and use your heat vision from a distance. The game feels like a constant race against the clock, a test of your positioning and quick decision-making. It captures that specific, frantic pressure of trying to be everywhere at once.
