Rock & Roll Space Monkey

You move the monkey left and right across the bottom of the screen, shooting projectiles at waves of descending aliens. The main goal is to clear each stage by eliminating all the enemies before they reach you. You have a standard shot and a more powerful explosive attack, often referred to as Star Power, that you could use sparingly. The pace is constant, with the aliens coming in predictable patterns that gradually become more crowded and demanding. It feels like a basic but frantic test of your positioning and timing, where a single mistake can end your run quickly.
