About Metal Slug Space Racing

Metal Slug Space Racing was one of those Flash games you'd find on a fan site in the mid-2000s. It took the familiar characters and vehicles from the main series and put them into a simple, fast-paced space setting. You didn't need to download anything; you just clicked and played in your browser, which was the whole point back then.

You control a small fighter ship, guiding it from the left side of the screen to the right. The main objective is to reach your mothership before it's overwhelmed. Enemy ships fly in from the right, and you use the arrow keys to dodge while holding the spacebar to fire a steady stream of bullets. The mechanics are straightforward: avoid collisions, shoot down opponents, and keep moving forward. The pace is relentless, with enemies appearing in consistent waves that require quick reflexes more than complex strategy. It feels like a frantic, condensed version of a classic arcade shooter.
